Now it’s a beautiful museum and National Historic Landmark that attracts visitors with its incredible architecture, remarkable art, and rich history. Before you make the drive, be sure to get your tickets, since seating is limited. With 2 performances each night, you’ll be able to experience the meaning of Christmas in a whole new way.

A Christmas to Remember

A Christmas Carol

Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, 510 Centerville Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601

One of the most classic Christmas tales of all time, no holiday season would be complete without a production of A Christmas Carol. Follow the timeless tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and Tiny Tim with the cast and crew of the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. See the magic of Christmas unfold before your eyes as this grumpy old man sees his past, present, and future, and finds happiness and love on Christmas day. With performance dates throughout December, you can opt for dinner and a show, or show only tickets and enjoy this performance with your whole family.

Magic Lantern Show

3121 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird-in-Hand, PA 17505

Watch A Christmas Journey and start a new Christmas tradition with your family. Travel back in time with this early form of entertainment that predates TV and film. Experience a Victorian family’s Christmas, and listen to Grandpa telling beloved Christmas stories using his Magic Lantern. The Magic Lantern is a three-tiered projector that use stunning hand painted plates, projected onto a screen, to aid the imagination. These projections serve as the starting point for Grandpa’s stories, poems, and songs. He’s a real showman, interacting with the audience, portraying many characters to tell the stories, and coordinating images and music. This holiday, laugh along with your family at the Parade of Toys story, The Night Before Christmas tale, and the rarely told Gabriel Grubb and the Goblins story. You will also hear some Christmas classics like A Christmas Carol in the way it would have been told over a hundred years ago.
